Intercultural Training Australia (ITA) TESOL is an amazing team of highly qualified and motivated TESOL trainers providing high quality interactive TESOL courses. They are a not-for-profit organisation committed to keeping course costs low and investing into ESL ministries and resources worldwide.
ITA TESOL works in collaboration with a Registered Training Organisations (RTO):
Intercultural Training Associates was established in 2001 by Dr Dorothy and George Mathieson in order to develop an Australian government accredited Certificate in Teaching Conversational English. Directors Kim Hood and Juanita Anderson developed ITA TESOL, and trained and equipped a talented and experienced team to deliver courses in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Intercultural Training Associates became a not-for-profit organisation, known as Intercultural Training Australia in 2011.
Maureen Face (Director of Studies) joined the ITA team in 2015. In 23 years, ITA TESOL has trained hundreds of ESL/EFL teachers.
The high quality Certificate IV in Teaching an Additional Language - TESOL was accredited in 2002 and reaccredited in 2007, 2012 and 2017 with code numbers 30219QLD, 30664QLD, 30987QLD respectively. In 2017 it was further developed as the national Certificate IV in TESOL (10632NAT). In 2022 it has been accredited as 11025NAT Certificate IV in Teaching an Additional Language - TESOL.
With a highly experienced team of TESOL trainers and administrative staff, ITA TESOL is still providing a high level of TESOL training in Australia, Thailand, Cambodia and the USA.
