ITA TESOL works in collaboration with a Registered Training Organisations (RTO):
Intercultural Training Associates was established in 2001 by Dr Dorothy and George Mathieson in order to develop an Australian government accredited Certificate in Teaching Conversational English. Directors Kim Hood and Juanita Anderson developed ITA TESOL, and trained and equipped a talented and experienced team to deliver courses in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Intercultural Training Associates became a not-for-profit organisation, known as Intercultural Training Australia in 2011.
Maureen Face (Director of Studies) joined the ITA team in 2015. In fifteen short years, ITA TESOL has trained hundreds of ESL/EFL teachers.
The high quality Certificate IV in Teaching Conversational English (TESOL) was accredited in 2002 and reaccredited in 2007, 2012 and 2017 with code numbers 30219QLD, 30664QLD, 30987QLD respectively. In 2017 it was further developed as the national Certificate IV in TESOL (10632NAT).
The Diploma of Language Teaching - TESOL 10431NAT was developed in 2014, as the need for a higher level qualification was sought by TESOL graduates.
With a highly experienced team of TESOL trainers and administrative staff, ITA TESOL is still providing the highest level of TESOL training in Australia, Thailand, Cambodia and the USA.
